- Understand the need for the listening process.
- Identify the different types of listening.
- Use critical listening skills.
- Eliminate personal filters when listening.
- Take effective notes.
- Simulation Overview: In this simulation, you will meet with your mentor who will help you identify how well you use listening skills. Your mentor will ask you
questions regarding your listening habits, as well as answer your questions.

- Understand the importance of responding to a speaker.
