- Simulation Overview: In this simulation, you will be meeting with John Cunningham, one of Icon International's Human Resources Assistants. You will discuss the
EEO, provisions outlined by EEO, and EEOC guidelines and terms.
Unit 2: Non-discrimination and Interview Questions Duration: 0.5 - 1 Hour(s)
- Differentiate between appropriate and inappropriate lines of questioning.
- Know what questions are forbidden under the federal equal employment laws.
- Apply the Pregnancy Discrimination Act to inquiries.
- Ask appropriate questions about a candidate's military service.
- Avoid asking questions that are not permissible according to law.
- Ask permissible questions relating to residence.
- Simulation Overview: In this simulation, you will be interviewing Robin Carlson, a candidate for the position of Product Manager at Icon International's financial
services division. You have already established a rapport with the candidate, and you must ask appropriate questions about her education and professional skills.
